Common questions

We quote upfront before work starts, so you always know the price before we begin. For fault-finding we explain the diagnosis process and its cost when you book. No surprises on the invoice.

Genuine emergencies like no power, burning smells, or exposed wiring go to the front of the queue. Call us and we'll give you an honest arrival window for your suburb rather than a promise we can't keep.

Yes. All work is carried out by licensed electricians and certified on completion, and the business carries public liability insurance. Licence details are listed in the footer of this site.

A safety switch that trips repeatedly is doing its job: something on that circuit is leaking current. Common culprits are failing appliances, moisture in outdoor fittings, or damaged cables. Unplug appliances one at a time; if it still trips, it's time to have the circuit tested.

Every install starts with a switchboard and load check. Most single-phase homes can take a 7kW charger on a dedicated circuit; the final scope depends on cable runs and board capacity, which is why we quote after a quick assessment rather than guessing.

Ceramic fuses, no safety switches, frequent tripping, flickering lights, or any warmth or buzzing at the board are all signs it's due. Boards older than 25 years rarely protect every circuit the way current standards require.
